Interventional Radiology RN Job in Cape Girardeau, MO

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for the Interventional Radiology department. This is a 91-day travel position starting October 5, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,055.

Schedule and Hours

• 3x12 day shifts per week
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours required as needed
• On-call rotation required

Role Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology department with a 1:1 patient ratio in imaging settings. Your duties include:

• Monitor patients and observe vital signs
• Maintain and manage intravenous lines for patients receiving IV fluids
• Administer medications under physician direction
• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures in IR suite, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Diagnostic settings
• Maintain emergency equipment and supplies, including crash cart drug inventory
• Serve as liaison between the Imaging department and patient care divisions
• Accurately document patient records while patient is in the Imaging department
• Interact with patients of various age groups and diverse social and economic backgrounds
• Float as needed within the facility

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• ARNA certification preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Facility Information

You will work with Nihonkohden patient monitors. The facility uses CERNER EMR, transitioning to EPIC. Surgical scrubs are provided for the procedure area; street clothes are not acceptable attire.
