CVOR RN Job in Wausau, WI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, supporting anesthesiologists and CRNAs during surgical cases. Your role is clinical and hands-on, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to manage complex equipment and patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs with intubations, central line placement, arterial line placement, and IV access
• Operate and manage specialized equipment including Belmont infusion systems, Level 1 fluid warmers, cell savers, glide scopes, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) units
• Support Swan-Ganz catheter placements and coordinate laboratory work
• Administer and manage medications as directed by the anesthesia team
• Float between sister facilities within the designated region as needed

What we require:

• Current Wisconsin nursing license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Assignment details:

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026. You will work 5x8 rotating shifts, earning $3,011 per week. The rotating shift schedule means you will cover days, evenings, and nights across your work week.
