RN - OR

Job Details:

• 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• 13 weekend shifts per contract
• No on-call requirement
• No holiday requirement
• Block scheduling - 1:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Float required between Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Jefferson Methodist Hospital, and Honickman Center
• Will float among services at the main OR
• 32 OR rooms available
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma certification required
• Scrub and circulate required - scrub experience is a hard stop requirement
• Experience required in cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases
• Experience with ortho fractures is a plus
• Trauma Level 1 course and certificate preferred
• Previous charge experience required
• 3 years of experience required
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrubs are provided
• Required certifications: BLS, Trauma Level 1 course and certificate
• Skills required: Craniotomy, General OR, Ortho/Spine, Scrub Neurology Surgery, Scrub Orthopedic Surgeries, Spinal Fusion, Total Joint Replacement, Trauma Level 1 experience
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
