PCU Registered Nurse Job in Saginaw, MI

MyMichigan Health - Saginaw is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work the night shift on a 3x12 schedule, earning $2,299 per week. Your assignment begins November 9, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including comprehensive assessment of patient needs. Your responsibilities include administering medications, performing treatments, providing patient education, responding to call lights, assisting with transfers, and monitoring alarms. You will evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to establish and track patient goals and outcomes. As a team leader, you will delegate tasks and provide direction to support staff while maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and hospital-specific policies.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan nursing license with active LARA and/or Nursys verification
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Recent travel work history highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS Certification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application pertinent to PCU specialty
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years

Schedule Details

You will work every other weekend and holiday schedule with no on-call responsibilities, providing predictability and work-life balance during your assignment.
