ED Registered Nurse Job in Stockbridge, GA

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This 154-day travel assignment runs from September 14, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,792.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 3x12 night shifts per week (36 or 48 hours weekly — indicate your preference at submission)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call obligations
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• 12 orientation hours required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission

Requirements & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current GA or Compact nursing license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC, ENPC
• Telemetry competency exam required
• Core competencies: Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Triage
• Preferred skills: Continuous IV Sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
• Experience with Arctic Sun and Glucommander equipment required

Patient Care & Support

• Patient ratio of 4:1 across day, night, and weekend shifts
• Serve patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy

Holiday Coverage

If 1–2 major holidays fall within your assignment, you are expected to work all of them. If 3 major holidays fall within your assignment, you are expected to work 2 of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
