ED RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 6-month contract position offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining schedule flexibility.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Credential: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday
• Contract Duration: 181 days
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,384

Your Role:

You will deliver emergency nursing care in a high-volume emergency department setting. You will assess patients, perform triage, assist with emergency procedures, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams to provide acute and critical care. Your nursing judgment and clinical skills will be essential in managing patients across a broad spectrum of emergency presentations.

What You Need:
