RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week with availability for overtime when available
• Variable days with rotating weekend, day, night, and holiday call required
• Must have experience in PEDS Perio Circulator (Level I trauma not required)
• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities are potentially compromised during operative or invasive procedures
• Apply clinical knowledge, judgment, and clinical-reasoning skills based on scientific principles to plan and implement patient care
• Responsible for direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care for patients in the operating room
• Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of care delivered within the perioperative environment utilizing the nursing process
• Individualize patient care according to patient health status, age level, and surgery or procedure being performed
• Address the physical, psychological, and spiritual responses of patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures
