Infusion RN Job in Lakeport, CA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in an outpatient infusion center at Sutter Health Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport, California. This is a travel position lasting 91 days, starting October 19, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x10 day shifts (40 hours per week)
• $2,490 weekly pay

Role Overview

You'll manage patient care in a busy infusion setting with a typical daily census of 11 patients across 5 rooms and 10 beds. Your patient ratio during day shifts is 1:2. You'll coordinate directly with the clinical team and work within established protocols for chemotherapy administration and supportive care infusions.

Key Responsibilities

• Access and manage ports, central lines, and implanted lines
• Administer chemotherapy via IV push and continuous infusion methods
• Perform central line blood draws and PICC line care
• Manage infusion pump settings and monitoring
• Conduct phlebotomy as needed
• Monitor patients during chemotherapy administration
• Handle management and safe disposal of cytotoxic spills
• Maintain accurate charting in Epic electronic health records

Requirements

• Current California RN license with valid Nursys verification
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS or ONCC) — this is a hard requirement
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 4 years nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Community hospital background
• Experience with Epic charting system

Onboarding

You'll complete 40 orientation hours to familiarize yourself with facility protocols, equipment, and the infusion center workflow before working independently.
