NICU Registered Nurse Job in Modesto, CA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sutter Health Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 1, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week. Your weekly pay is $2,651.62.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates across multiple acuity levels, including neonates under 34 weeks gestation, neonates 29–34 weeks gestation, NICU Level II, and NICU Level III patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:2
• Attend high-risk deliveries as needed
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts
• Assume charge nurse duties as required

Required Qualifications

• Current valid California RN license
• Minimum 3 years of NICU nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience
• BLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Stabilization and Transportation of Baby Life Extension) certification
• Willingness to work rotating weekend shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of NICU nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
