Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Variable day schedule with 36 hours per week
• 2 weekend shifts required every 2-week period
• No holiday shifts required
• Low census on-call utilized when census dips
• No guaranteed hours
• Care for high-acuity patients within a 12-bed Med/Surg unit working alongside CNAs, RNs, and a critical care-trained house supervisor
• Average patient assignment of 4-5 patients with a maximum of 6 patients
• Must have relevant experience in telemetry, cardiac drips, and respiratory support including heated high-flow
• Must have experience in post-op care for general surgery, orthopedic, and urology patients
• Must be able to quickly stabilize acutely ill patients per ACLS guidelines with interdisciplinary team support
• Must be able to titrate Cardizem drip
• May float to high-acuity units as needed
• Prepare patients for transfer to higher level of care when necessary
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Michigan RN license required
• Dress code: Scrubs, no specific color required
