Emergency Department RN Job in Sioux City, IA

You will work as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown, joining an interdisciplinary team that provides direct patient care and clinical management in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and clinical nursing care as part of the interdisciplinary care team
• Manage patient assessments, treatment coordination, and care planning in the emergency environment
• May float within the same discipline across local UnityPoint campuses as needed
• Work an every-third-weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities

Schedule & Duration

You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours during day hours. This is a 91-day assignment beginning August 17, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,280.96.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current RN license in Iowa (verification required)
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• Current certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
• Valid driver's license
• Skills checklist completed within one year of submission date
• One supervisory reference from current or previous employer
• Resume and work history documentation
• Copy of all required certifications
• Taxable address located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
