Operating Room RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This 91-day travel assignment offers competitive pay of $3,010 weekly and begins November 30, 2026.

Schedule & Shift Details

• 4x10 shifts: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday through Thursday
• No regular weekend shift requirement; weekend call is required
• Approximately 6 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call rotations per rotation period
• Additional shifts may become available pending OR vacancies and facility needs

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Travel experience required
• Floating within scope based on facility needs

Clinical Experience Required

• Strong general OR experience with high-acuity and trauma surgical cases
• Neuro experience including spinal fusion, cervical and lumbar procedures, craniotomy, and laminectomy/discectomy
• Orthopedic experience including total hip and knee replacements, fracture procedures, and spine cases
• Vascular experience including carotid procedures, AV fistula repair, femoral-popliteal bypass, and abdominal aortic aneurysm procedures
• General Surgery experience with procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic surgery, thyroidectomy, and Whipple procedures
• Total joint and transplant experience required

Facility Information

• Department operates approximately 14 operating rooms
• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
• Electronic health record system: EPIC
• Scrubs provided by facility

Credentials & Licensing

• Pennsylvania RN license required
• BLS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
