Operating Room RN Job in Pittsburgh, PA

Allegheny General Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 92-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026. You will work 3x12 NOC shifts in a dynamic surgical environment serving a Level 1 Trauma center.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• Participate in rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights
• Accept call and weekend responsibilities with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Call may occur on weekday or weekend shifts, including Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• Utilize in-house call rooms as available

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience within the last 3 years (3 years preferred)
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Proficiency or expertise in General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgical, Vascular, and Trauma procedures
• Required robotics experience with DaVinci systems, including cardiac and machine operation
• RN scrubbing not required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transplant surgical experience

Additional Requirements:

• Cannot have been a previous regular employee of Allegheny General Hospital
• No block scheduling available

Compensation: $2,556 weekly pay. This assignment runs for 92 days.
