OR Registered Nurse Job in Philadelphia, PA

Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work a 4x10 night schedule with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, including nights from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate in high-acuity surgical cases
• Support Level I Trauma, liver, and kidney surgeries
• Manage 1:1 patient ratios in the OR
• Float to GI or Center One Surgery Center as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotations

Requirements:

• Current RN license (PA or compact state)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 3 years OR experience with Level I Trauma background
• Trauma Certification and 2–3 years Level I Trauma experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Prior travel nursing assignments required
• BLS and TNCC certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records

Preferred Skills:

• Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, arteriovenous fistula repair, carotid angioplasty and stenting, carotid endarterectomy, craniotomy, femoral popliteal bypass graft, general OR, gunshot and stab wound care, kyphoplasty, laminectomy and discectomy, lumbar fusion, multiple trauma injuries, scrub arthroscopic and orthopedic surgeries, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, and XLIF

You will care for adult patients in a Level I Trauma center setting. This role requires reliability, clinical expertise, and readiness to handle complex surgical emergencies.
