Emergency Room RN Job in Springfield, VT

Springfield Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 24/7 Emergency Department. This is a travel position running 91 days, starting November 9, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in a busy Emergency Department that manages approximately 14,000 patient visits annually. You'll be part of a team delivering acute care across a wide range of emergency conditions. This role operates on a 3x12 night shift schedule.

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as needed
• No block scheduling approval
• No 48-hour guarantee
• Overtime paid at regular hourly rate
• On-call status to be determined
• You must have your own vehicle

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,336

Requirements

• Current RN license (Vermont or Compact)
• 2+ years of current ED experience in a hospital setting
• 3 months of travel experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current Emergency Department skills checklist (within 1 year)
• Required certifications in hand at time of consideration: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment

Scheduling & Time Off

• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted
• All time-off requests must be noted and verified at upload
• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
