Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a 36-hour weekly guarantee
• 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Primary location in Rhinelander with float requirements to Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River (floating can and will be pre-scheduled if needed)
• On-call requirements apply with a minimum 2-hour call back
• Support all patient care areas of the hospital including the emergency department and general care areas
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols and provide care for all age groups
• Equipment used includes Bipap V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2 (Heated High Flow), Optiflow, and Resmed S10 auto CPAPs
• Charting experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS, NBRC CRT or RRT, Wisconsin License; NRP preferred
• Minimum 1+ year of experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color: Any
• Contractor must live outside a 50-mile radius
