Operating Room RN Job in Joplin, MO

You are an RN with 2+ years of operating room experience, ready to join Mercy Hospital Joplin for a 91-day travel assignment. This is a day shift position working a 3×12 schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with 36 guaranteed weekly hours.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-room operating room complex
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios and utilize the nursing process to ensure safe, effective care
• Work with Stryker equipment and EPIC electronic medical record system
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care with other departments to support seamless operations
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality of patient information at all times

Schedule & Expectations

• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as required by facility
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue (supplied by facility)

Requirements

• Current RN License; must meet criteria for eligibility for licensure in Missouri or be currently licensed in Missouri
• BLS certification from AHA required
• 2+ years of OR experience

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $2,102.40. Your assignment begins September 7, 2026, and runs for 91 days. You will maintain professional accountability throughout your time at the facility.
