ED RN Job in Manchester, NH

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This is a 12-week travel assignment working 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with an every-other-weekend schedule required. Weekly pay is $2,213.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, and TNCC certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations including trauma, stroke, laceration repair, and psychiatric cases

Daily Responsibilities:

• Manage a 5:1 patient ratio (with flexibility when trauma rooms are in use)
• Perform complete workups including labs, EKGs, x-rays, and medication administration based on protocol
• Conduct point-of-care lab testing for all patients
• Collaborate with providers on medical screening exams within 10 minutes of patient arrival
• Perform clinical procedures including ultrasound-guided IV insertion, IO insertion, and EKG interpretation
• Operate equipment including U/S IV devices, Lucas Device, Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Float to main ER as needed

Work Environment:

• Policy-driven protocols organized by chief complaint
• Scrubs required; no hooded shirts or sweatshirts for safety compliance
