Physical Therapist Job in North Richland Hills, TX

Medical City North Hills is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026. You will work day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a rotating schedule that includes weekends, with no night shift or on-call requirements.

Role Overview

You will be based on the 4th floor Rehabilitation unit within the main hospital building, serving a 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial evaluations and treatment progression for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care patients
• Developing individualized care plans and participating in team conferences
• Discharge planning and quality indicator monitoring
• Providing patient-centered, collaborative care alongside a team of approximately 10 therapy staff members

Facility and Work Environment

You will utilize the Meditech EMR system and work with inpatient rehabilitation and acute hospital setting equipment. The unit operates with a 75% productivity expectation. There is a floating requirement—you may be asked to float to acute care depending on rehabilitation census.

Requirements and Preferred Experience

Inpatient rehabilitation experience is required. The following experience is preferred: acute care experience, post-acute therapy services experience, and former HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) background. You must demonstrate an empathetic, goal-focused, and collaborative approach to patient care.

Assignment Details

This is a 5x8 day shift assignment (40 hours per week). Weekly pay is $2,044. The assignment runs for 91 days. You will work in a structured inpatient rehabilitation environment focused on delivering quality care in a team-based setting.
