Certified Surgical Technologist in Grand Junction, CO

You'll work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Canyon View Surgery Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. This is a day-shift position running Monday through Friday, offering you a predictable schedule and the chance to support surgical teams in a community hospital setting.

What you'll do:

• Prepare operating rooms before surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures as a scrub tech
• Cleanse and disinfect surgical incision sites to prepare patients for surgery
• Position and drape patients while maintaining strict sterility protocols
• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to prevent retained surgical items
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including lights, suction machines, and sterilization tools
• Clean and restock the operating room following each surgical procedure

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• One year of related experience preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Current and unrestricted Colorado state licensure as a CST
• Current BLS certification
