PICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas as a travel RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This 91-day assignment runs from August 25, 2026, offering 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at $1,839.60 per week.

Role Overview

You will work in a Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU with 15 beds, maintaining a 2:1 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements. You will use General CR Monitoring equipment and the Meditech/CPN EMR system in a collaborative teaching hospital environment.

Your Team

You will work alongside Intensivists, RNs, Desk Techs, Respiratory Therapists, Dietary staff, and Case Management on day shift.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital PICU RN experience
• BLS certification
• PALS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• CRRT experience
• APHON certification
• Pediatric teaching hospital experience
