Opportunity:

RN - Burn ICU

Job Details:

• 48 hours guaranteed per scheduling period
• 3 weekend shifts required in a 4-week scheduling period
• No on-call requirements
• 6-bed Burn ICU unit with patient ratios that vary based on acuity
• Adult patients only
• Float to like units (ICU/PCU/CCU) when needed - agency staff are first to float
• ICU background required; burn experience preferred
• Cardiac rhythm proficiency required
• NIH certified and CRRT training required
• Hemodynamic monitoring and drip titration proficiency required
• Procedures performed include debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertion and maintenance, and post-operative procedural care
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH; ABLS preferred but not required
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Equipment used: Alaris IV Pumps, Hill-Rom beds and call light system, GE Cardiac monitoring equipment
• Dress code: Navy blue scrub top, navy blue or black scrub pants, scrub jacket required; no t-shirts, hoodies, or sweatshirts allowed
