Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• May be required to float to like units with like patients to meet facility needs
• 2 years of experience required; travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Skills include central line care/management, CVA, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, and telemetry
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
• All required modules must be completed prior to start date
• Attendance at staff meetings is required
