OR Registered Nurse Job in Omaha, NE

Childrens Nebraska is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 13-bed Pediatric Operating Room. You will work four 10-hour day shifts per week for a 91-day assignment beginning July 27, 2026. Weekly compensation is $2,880.

You will care for patients across all pediatric age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients. You must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles, supporting a facility that averages 55 surgical visits daily across 10 operating rooms.

• Orthopedics, Spine, and Sports Surgery
• Neurosurgery, Craniofacial, Plastics, and ENT
• Pediatric GI, Pulmonology, Dental, OMF, and Dermatology
• Cardiothoracic Surgery, ECMO, and Interventional Radiology
• Ophthalmology

Required Skills and Procedures:

• Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction
• Arthroscopy of knee, shoulder, and wrist
• Cleft lip and cleft palate repair
• Cystoscopy, cystogram, and pyelogram
• Eye trauma management
• Nephrectomy
• Orchidopexy

You will work with specialized equipment including Stealth Navigation, laser systems, IntraOp MRI, and a NICU OR.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of operating room experience
• BLS and PALS certifications
• Off-shift rotation availability
• On-call commitment with 1–2 shifts per week
• Weekend coverage: 2 shifts per 6-week period
