Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts required
• No call or standby requirement
• 36 hours per week or 36/48 hours bi-weekly guaranteed
• Patient ratios of 5-6:1 with 25 beds on the unit
• PCTs present at a 12:1 ratio
• Tele monitor techs monitor patients, but RNs must be able to read strips
• Charge Nurse, House Supervisors, and Nurse Educators available for support
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg tele cases
• Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patients required
• May float to all med/surg units and possibly to PCU to care for tele holds prior to transfer
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated; scheduling is based on facility needs
• 2 shadow/orientation shifts required for department orientation
• Charting system is Paragon, transitioning to EPIC on October 30th, 2026
• Scrub color requirement: Navy blue
• 18+ months of recent Med/Tele experience required
• Rural hospital experience preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS
