Pharmacist Job in Medford, Wisconsin

Aspirus Medford Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position in their inpatient pharmacy. You will work 4x10 day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends, with guaranteed 40 hours per week and every other weekend required. Every other holiday rotation applies. There are no float requirements or on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify Epic orders and oversee technician work in the central inpatient pharmacy
• Answer pharmacist phone calls and respond to clinical inquiries
• Support inpatient and outpatient IV services, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Serve departments including Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and Emergency Department
• Manage multiple concurrent responsibilities with typical inpatient census of 10 to 15 patients

Requirements:

• Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Wisconsin Pharmacist License
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital experience
• Epic charting experience highly preferred
