Pharmacist Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week night shift contract. You will work in the central inpatient pharmacy, managing a range of clinical and operational responsibilities across multiple departments.

Position Details:

• Shift: 4x10 nights with varying hours (Monday–Thursday: 8:30 PM–6:00 AM; Friday: 8:30 PM–7:00 AM; Saturday: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; Sunday: 7:00 PM–6:00 AM)
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly; overtime paid after 80 hours in the second week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday in rotation
• May be placed on low census call with a 2-hour callback minimum
• No float requirements
• Weekly pay: $3,652
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify Epic orders and check technician work in the central pharmacy
• Answer pharmacist phone calls and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IV medications
• Compound inpatient unit dose medications
• Cover multiple hospital orders across the organization on night shift
• Work with Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and the Emergency Department

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Wisconsin Pharmacist License required
• Master's Degree required; Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred but not required
