Med Surg RN Job in Lincoln, NE

CHI Health St Elizabeth in Lincoln, NE is seeking an RN (Registered Nurse) for a 91-day travel assignment on a 42-bed Medical-Surgical unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, with weekend and holiday requirements as needed. There is no on-call or standby obligation.

Role Details:

• 12-hour night shifts: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM as scheduled)
• Patient ratios of 1:5–6, with a 1:6 ratio occurring at least once weekly
• Titratable drips limited to Heparin only
• Floating to PCU or Burn unit as needed
• Charge nurse present on each shift with their own patient assignment

Unit Support:

• Nurse aids and patient care techs available at a 1:10–12 ratio
• 24-hour respiratory therapy on the floor
• Centralized telemetry monitoring available on the unit
• EPIC charting system

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal
• Navy blue scrubs required; artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
• BSN not required

Orientation:

Your first week includes classroom training followed by two 12-hour shifts on the floor. You will complete a pass/fail open-book exam with a minimum passing score of 90%.
