Special Procedures Technologist in Florence, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional Special Procedures Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health - Florence. You will work in Interventional Radiology, supporting a dynamic clinical team in a busy procedural environment.

Schedule and Facility Details

• 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation shared between two other technologists
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend
• Average caseload: 4 cases per technologist daily
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• No floating between units or sister facilities
• Scrubs provided by facility; no parking cost

Your Role

You will perform Interventional Radiology procedures including Interventional CT/US, stress tests, and radiology-related monitoring. You will work with adult and geriatric patient populations, applying your expertise in sterile technique, lead tech experience, and isolation precautions. General IR experience is required; Neuro IR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
• General Interventional Radiology experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRSA
• Required skills: Interventional Radiology, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Lead tech experience, Sterile Technique, Neuro IR
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Epic charting system experience
• First-time travelers accepted

Assignment Details

Assignment start date: August 31, 2026. Duration: 91 days. Weekly pay: $2,801.
