Special Procedures Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional with specialized interventional radiology and cardiology expertise for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health Charleston. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, scheduled per unit needs with possible late shifts each week. An on-call schedule of approximately 8 calls per month is required, with possible holiday call obligations.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support interventional radiology and cardiology procedures in a hybrid OR environment
• Manage advanced endovascular procedures including FEVAR, PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs
• Operate Zeego and Pheno imaging systems with advanced troubleshooting capabilities
• Work with specialized equipment including Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad systems
• Manage vascular supplies including balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths
• Utilize PACS archiving and Siemens Portable C-Arm functions including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements
• Document procedures using EPIC charting system
• Maintain PACS and hybrid Siemens equipment knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Extensive endovascular procedure experience
• Greater than 1 year of Zeego and Pheno experience
• Travel assignment experience required
• Hybrid OR experience required
• ARRT and BLS certifications
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure in a high-acuity environment
• Adult patient population experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma Level I experience

You will not be scrubbing in procedures. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Start date is August 17, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,120.
