Special Procedures Technologist in Florence, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional Special Procedures Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health - Florence. This role focuses on interventional radiology and cardiology procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule & Details

• 5x8 shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation shared between three technologists
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend
• Typical daily caseload of 4 patients per technologist
• No floating to other units or sister facilities
• OR scrubs provided by facility; no parking costs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience
• BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA certifications required
• Radiation badge required and provided by agency
• General IR experience mandatory; Neuro IR experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Core Competencies

• Interventional Radiology procedures
• Neuro IR experience
• Sterile technique and lead tech experience
• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
• Interventional CT/US, stress tests, and radiology-related monitoring

Patient Population

You will work with adult and geriatric patients in a radiology environment. The facility uses Epic for charting.
