Special Procedures Technologist Job in Spartanburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at SRHS (Spartanburg) – SMC (Church & Mary Black) in Spartanburg, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work in interventional radiology and cardiology, supporting Interventional Radiologists in a dynamic 3-room unit.

Schedule & Compensation

• Five 8-hour day shifts per week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call: 1–2 nights per week and every 6th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Weekly pay: $2,801
• Start date: October 12, 2026

Role Responsibilities

You will scrub with and work under the direction of an Interventional Radiologist to perform a range of interventional procedures, including Uterine Fibroid Embolizations (UFE), Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE), Y-90, Abdominal Embolization, TIPS, Venography, Portacath Placement, Epidural Injections, Lumbar Puncture, Myelograms, joint injections, abscess drain placement, tube changes, Kyphoplasty, Cryoablations, and Bone Marrow Biopsies. You will assist with accuracy and professionalism during all procedures, handle charge entry and charge reconciliation, and maintain professional communication with patients, families, physicians, and other departments. You will work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations while managing confidential patient information appropriately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience; 2 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Current certifications: ARRT R, BLS, SCRQS
• Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required

Attendance policy in effect – missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation.
