Special Procedures Technologist in Florence, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an Allied Health Professional to work as a Special Procedures Technologist in Interventional Radiology at MUSC Health - Florence. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Position Overview

You will support interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. Your responsibilities include performing interventional radiology, interventional CT/ultrasound, stress tests, and monitoring procedures. You will work with adult and geriatric patient populations, maintaining sterile technique and isolation precautions throughout each shift.

Shift and Schedule

You will work 5x8 shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call rotation is required between two other technologists, and weekend coverage is needed every third weekend. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks. Block schedules may be accommodated with manager approval based on unit needs.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• Proficiency in sterile technique and lead tech experience
• Neuro IR experience preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted

Compensation and Benefits

Weekly pay is $3,131. The facility provides scrubs and covers parking costs. A radiation badge will be supplied by the agency.
