Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position. This is a 181-day travel contract beginning October 19, 2026.

Position Details:

• Shift: 12.5-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule: 3 days per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay: $2,259

About the Role:

You will provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and other acute care needs. Your responsibilities include assessing patient status, administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining detailed clinical documentation. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and support personnel to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

You hold an active RN license and bring experience in acute care or telemetry settings. You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple patients while maintaining high standards of patient safety. You communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, and you are flexible and responsive to changing unit needs.
