Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Oncology

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week with every other weekend as needed
• 48 guaranteed hours is an option for travel
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 33-bed Medical Oncology unit
• Unit secretary available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 3 CNAs for 33 patients, Charge RN each shift
• Travelers are first to float per floating policy
• Perform hourly rounds on day shift and 2-hour rounds after 9:00 PM
• Work with electronic white boards, iPhones with iMobile, and remote telemetry equipment
• Document using Meditech system
• Inpatient chemotherapy administered by core nursing staff with ONS chemo training
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred specialty certifications: Med Surg, Palliative Care, ONS
• Required dress code: Pewter colored scrubs and white scrubs in any combination
