RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Structural heart experience highly preferred
• EP experience highly preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• Circulating and monitoring experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
• On-call schedule of 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend (Friday 7:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
• Weekend schedule based on call schedule with assigned cases on rare occasions
• Must be willing to precept as needed
• Must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• EMR: Epic
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Work history must reflect 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
