Med Surg RN Job in Lakewood, CO

St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO is seeking a registered nurse for a med surg position. This is a night shift role with 12-hour shifts on a 3x12 schedule. The assignment runs for 91 days, starting November 2, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,074.

Shift and Scheduling

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 6 to 9 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
• Holiday work required
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment

Role Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in acute care setting
• First to float; may float within Zone 3 in cases of extreme need
• Commonly treated diagnoses include abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain
• Common drips include cardiac, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, sedation, and analgesia medications

Resources and Support

• Respiratory therapy available 24/7 with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen equipment
• Lab draws performed by both phlebotomy and RNs
• EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Valid Colorado nursing license
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• BSN not required
• Navy blue scrubs required
