Emergency Department RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You will work as an RN in the Emergency Department at Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a 12-week travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,839.60.

Schedule and Staffing

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Rotating weekends
• No floating to other units
• 19-bed emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform triage and manage patient flow
• Care for behavioral health patients
• Monitor patients using GE Monitors and I-Mobile equipment
• Perform procedures including Tele-Neuro monitoring, moderate sedation, and basic joint reduction
• Document in Meditech and Tele-Neuro systems
• Adhere to AIDET communication standards
• Maintain communication boards to enhance patient experience

Requirements and Certifications

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI certification (can be provided)
• Basic emergency nursing skills with triage experience
• Patient-focused attitude

Uniform and Facility Details

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Acute care hospital setting
