Interventional Radiology RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester is seeking a Level 4 RN for its Interventional Radiology department. You will work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced procedural environment supporting patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care.

Your Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation and closely monitor patients' cardiac and physical status throughout procedures
• Perform intraoperative moderate sedation duties and circulating responsibilities
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy
• Manage conscious sedation independently with demonstrated competency
• Apply telemetry skills to monitor patient conditions
• Participate in on-call responsibilities for weekends and nights as scheduled

Required Qualifications:

• Current New York RN license
• Minimum two years of clinical experience; Level 1 trauma hospital experience preferred
• Moderate sedation certification and demonstrated ability to administer conscious sedation independently
• Interventional Radiology experience required
• Telemetry skills
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
