Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Moore, OK

Tide Health Group - Thunder Care and Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a long-term care position in Moore, Oklahoma. This is a full-time role working days, Monday through Friday, with no on-call or weekend responsibilities.

Position Overview

You will provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. Your work will be grounded in evidence-based practice and focused on helping patients restore and improve physical functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic interventions including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device instruction
• Assess patient progress and communicate with your supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed
• Report on treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide counseling and consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders and rehabilitation
• Document all treatment information in the electronic system and maintain accurate patient records per company policy
• Record treatment minutes for services provided in compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
• Support and supervise students under Physical Therapist guidance
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
• Adhere to APTA practice standards, state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and professional ethics

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma PTA license
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Skills checklist completion within 1 year
• 0–1 references at time of submission
