Job Details:

• Work a 4x10 shift schedule with Saturday coverage required
• Varied shifts and holidays required with no guaranteed hours
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine if intervention is needed
• Establish individualized plans of care and treatment goals in collaboration with patients and family/caregivers
• Implement treatment plans considering patients' physical, social, spiritual, cultural, and age-specific needs
• Provide skilled Physical Therapy treatment in a safe manner and assess ongoing effectiveness of treatment
• Document treatment techniques, patient progress, and care plans according to professional practice guidelines within established time frames
• Communicate evaluation and treatment results to physicians, nurses, patients, family/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate appropriate supervision and delegation of PTAs, ATCs, Therapy Technicians, and students
• Participate in departmental and facility process improvement initiatives and meet productivity standards
• Must have graduated from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent
• Must possess a current Physical Therapy license within the state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Must be proficient with computer software applications used in an automated patient care environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
