Med Surg RN Job in Rochester, NH

You'll work as an RN on the 3 West inpatient rehabilitation unit at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM), including every other weekend.

Unit Overview

The rehabilitation unit has 19 beds with a typical patient ratio of 6:1, depending on census. You'll provide direct patient care, perform rehabilitation procedures, and work with patients recovering from surgery, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other conditions requiring inpatient rehabilitation services.

Equipment and Systems

• Mechanical lifts and Sara Steady devices for safe patient handling
• Baxter and Kangaroo infusion pumps
• Meditech EMR for documentation and care coordination

Responsibilities and Requirements

You must maintain current BLS certification. Core competencies include rehabilitation care, medical-surgical nursing, and IV therapy. Preferred experience includes wound care, stroke rehabilitation, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) care. You'll be expected to float to the CCU, Med Surg, and ER units as needed based on facility demands.

You should be flexible, thorough, and compassionate in your interactions with patients and team members. Plain-colored scrubs are required per dress code policy.

This assignment offers weekly pay of $2,181.24 for the 91-day duration. You'll work in an acute rehabilitation setting with experienced colleagues and a structured schedule that balances clinical responsibilities with predictable time off.
