RN - OR

Job Details:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Scheduled late stays a few times per month (approximately 5-8 days per month, used 3-4 times per month)
• No on-call required
• Block scheduling available per manager's discretion
• Possibility of floating within Periop facility
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off up to 10 hours per 2-week period
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, South Carolina or Compact RN License, radiation badge (provided by parent company)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Experience required in: Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, Total Joints — unit does not perform general surgery, L&D, or pediatrics
• Scrub ability a plus but not required
• Cares for patients across orthopedic specialties including: Knee, Shoulder, Ankle, Wrist, Elbow, and Hip arthroscopies; ACL, MPFL, Cuff Repairs, Laterjet; Hand/Elbow; Foot & Ankle; Total Hips, Knees, and Shoulders; limited Spine cases
• Operates standard OR equipment including Skytron slider beds, Neptune suction, Stryker power tools, Arthrex integrated arthroscopy on booms, mini-C and large-C arms, Hanna Table, Trios/Jackson table, Zeiss Microscope, Wilson frame, and pegboard and orthopedic positioning equipment
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission; approval based on facility needs
