Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish CO is seeking an RN for its Med/Surg unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, assigned to the 7 North-Spine unit on the 8th floor of the Main Building.

Your Role

You will care for post-operative burn and flap patients in a structured night shift environment. Your patient ratio will be 6:1 with LPN support. The night shift team includes one charge nurse, three nurses, one LPN, and one to two PCTs, creating a collaborative care model.

Clinical Focus

Your responsibilities include wound and dressing care on post-operative patients, along with general Med/Surg nursing duties. You will work with specialized equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacuums, and PCA pumps.

Systems and Tools

The facility uses Meditech for its electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Burn care experience
• Wound care and ostomy care experience
• ACLS certification

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,878. You will be a strong team player who thrives in a collaborative night shift environment.
