PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Friday shift start time will vary between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM; Saturday and Sunday shifts begin at 7:00 AM
• No call required
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 16-bed/room PACU unit with a daily census of 40 patients
• Care for a wide range of post-surgical patients including TAVR, TEER, LAAO, orthopedic, and bariatric procedures
• Treat patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Charting experience required; Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• California RN license required
• Special equipment experience: ON-Q
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
