Opportunity:

Technologist - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Job Details:

• Perform scrub, circulate, and monitor duties for interventional radiology procedures
• Support vascular procedures with approximately 25 cases per day
• On-call schedule includes 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend from 7:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Weekend call schedule required
• Minimum 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Vascular scrub experience required
• Endovascular experience required
• Peripheral vascular experience required
• Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required
• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting preferred
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification preferred
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; licensing candidates will be considered
• Work history must reflect 12 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab/Cardiac Cath experience
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab/Cardiac Cath discipline required
• Driver's license required
• EMR system: EPIC
