Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• 5x8 hour shifts per week - schedule is firm
• Work on hybrid procedures involving both CVOR and Cath Lab team
• Call required after 2:30 PM, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend shifts vary based on staffing needs
• Expect to work some holidays
• Daily census of 10-15 patients per day across 5 rooms and 8 beds
• Patients include adults and geriatric age groups
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, and NBSTSA or NCCT
• Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortobifemoral bypass, Aortocaval fistula repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Arteriovenous malformation surgery, Atherectomy, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, General OR, Hybrid OR, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Laser Safety, Mediastinoscopy, Mitral valve replacement, Organ donation, Pericardial window, Specimen Handling/labeling, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), and Vein stripping
