Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

• Travel Occupational Therapist position working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts
• Schedule options include Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
• Work on a 100-bed unit with a team of 15 therapists including PT, OT, and ST staff
• Day shift team consists of 1-2 PTs, 1-2 OTs, and 1 SLP plus wound care therapist
• No on-call requirement
• If census is low, option to share to a neighboring facility versus call off - no float requirement
• Use of lift equipment, walkers, and other therapy equipment required
• EMR system: Meditech
• Treat patients undergoing joint replacements, general surgery, GI surgery, incision & drainage procedures, and bariatric surgery
• Adult acute care experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Experience with post-operative orthopedic patients preferred
• Active Occupational Therapy license required
• Must be team oriented, able to multitask, flexible, and willing to learn
• Hunter green scrubs required
