Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Saturday every week with occasional schedule changes requiring prior approval
• 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
• Patient ratios of 4-6 patients per day with 30 to 120 minute sessions totaling 6 to 6.5 hours of patient care daily
• Work with equipment including Hoyer lift, lite gait, Sara stand, standard hospital beds, and standard PT/OT equipment
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Treat patients with chest tubes/JP drains, wound vacs, and trachs/PEGs
• Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred
• Neuro Rehab experience preferred
• May float to acute care if needed
• Must work 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday if during rotation
• Required certifications: State of Texas Occupational Therapy license and CPR/BLS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Efficient communication skills required
• Must be able to maintain flexible scheduling to accommodate patient needs
