ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• ICU unit consists of 28 beds across two pods (Pod A with 12 beds and Pod B with 16 beds)
• Patient ratios are typically 1:2, but can be 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nellcor, Arctic Sun, and Sub Zero
• EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIH certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Typical procedures include neuro surgical, trauma (Level III), cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, ETOH/Drug withdrawal, and management of all vented patients
• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist the team
• Patient-centered approach required
